How to Help

We are united by our love for our children and for Darien.

Every member of our community has different comfort levels, interests, and skill sets. We are committed to seeing them thrive in the future. Please help us promote academic excellence and transparency. Everyone can make a difference with a little bit of time and commitment. Some suggestions below:

• Read every email you receive from your school thoroughly on the day you receive it – contact them if you’re concerned about the content. See contact information listed below.

• Listen to your children about their day; are you hearing anything concerning? Talk to their teacher and escalate as appropriate 

• Research to find out more about the people and experts who are making important decisions at your school; if the findings are concerning share with other parents and us

• Share information with other parents and those who can do something with it

• Attend Board of Education meetings along with PTO and CDSP meetings. View BOE meeting schedule here.

• Contact administration and leadership at your school (email and phone numbers listed below)
